To recycle, cut the bag open. Discard the non-toxic, non-hazardous material in your garbage bin. Recycle the outside plastic as a #4 plastic. If your local curbside pickup doesn't accept #4 plastics, you can find your local recycling center here: http://search.earth911.com
Your box and the separator inside of it are SFI certified, which means that they are made of paper sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Your box and separator can be recycled in any curbside paper recycling bin.
Depending on where you live, you will receive either a foil pouch liner or an encapsulated cotton liner (pictured) or a thermal liner.
Our foil pouches are made with a combination of metallized films and bubbles. Our encapsulated cotton liners are made from biodegradable and compostable natural fiber—primarily cotton—wrapped in a recyclable poly (thin plastic) film. Our thermal liners are made with plant-based, rapidly renewable materials.
The metallized shell used on the foil pouch is a mixed plastics product and can be recycled at centers that accept recyclable #4 plastics.
To discard the encapsulated cotton liner, separate the poly film from the insulation, and recycle poly film at locations that accept #4 plastics. Place the natural fiber insulation in your regular trash bin—it is fully compostable—or deliver it to any location where #60 cotton is accepted for recycling.
The thermal liner is curbside recyclable.
Our Foil Pouches are made with a combination of metalized films and bubbles.
The metalized shell used on the Foil Pouch is a mixed plastics product, and it can be recycled at centers that accept recyclable #7 plastics.

Any questions?
Our liners are made from raw, un-dyed cotton grown in southern U.S climates. This natural insulation is repurposed from plant fiber that can’t be used for shirts and sheets.
Remove the plastic film and recycle it where #4 plastic is accepted. The cotton insulation can be recycled where #60 cotton is accepted.
